Common questions

Where are my programs saved?
On your device, automatically, every few seconds. Use Save a backup file on the first screen to keep a copy or move to another phone, and Restore from a backup to bring it back.

How do I print?
On Design & print, choose a design and size, then save or share the PDF. Most print shops and church offices can print the 11 × 17 folded program; any home printer can print the 5.5 × 8.5 program or the single sheet. Print both sides, flipping on the short edge.

What does unlocking do?
Every program can be made and printed free with a light “HOMEGOING preview” mark, so you can check it with the church first. Unlocking a program ($9.99, once per program) removes the mark and lets you publish its memorial page with its own link and shared guestbook.

I reinstalled the app. How do I get my unlock back?
Tap Restore from a backup on the first screen and choose your backup file. Your programs come back, and every program you unlocked comes back unlocked. Save a new backup file after each unlock so it is always included.

Can I take down a memorial page or a guestbook message?
Yes. Email us the page link and we will remove it.

Everything does not fit on the program.
The app makes the reading type a little smaller when needed and tells you if anything had to be left out. Try the 8-page booklet, or shorten the obituary.
